Waterpark!

Mommy had a convention at a waterpark hotel in the Wisconsin Dells so daddy brought grandma, Grayson and Keegan to stay and play the last day and night. Aunt Theresa, uncle Brad, uncle Mike and their kids all came too and we had rooms right across the hall from each other. It was an awful lot of fun! Grandma stayed with us in our two room suite and everyone else was across the hall. We all had breakfast and dinner together and the cousins played and played, in and out of the water. The boys loved that grandma was there when they woke up and I think they would like to set up permanent residence. It was a wonderful first family vacation and hopefully we will do it many more times!

Happy Chreaster!

Grandma and Grandpa built a new house for the whole family to enjoy, but it wasn't done by Christmas so instead we mashed up Christmas and Easter and had a great Chreaster. All of the aunts and uncles and cousins were there! There were Christmas gifts and an Easter egg hunt. There were snacks and snuggles, toys and tons of big cousins to play with. It was a long day but the kids had fun exploring the new house an the bonus room and are totally thrilled with their gifts. A good day for sure.

Happy Birthday Baby Keegan

Baby Keegan woke up sick, super sick, on his birthday party day. His fever was 103 and all he wanted was mama snuggles and to cuddle his grandma. All of daddy's family came over to Keegan's house anyway and we enjoyed cake and coffee while the children played and ran and laughed (except Keegan of course, he just snuggled). Thankfully he is a warm and happy baby and as long as his people are holding him he is pretty ok.

Schmitz Family Christmas

We celebrated our little family's Christmas on 12-23 just the four of us.  It was lovely- Keegan had a blast hanging in his seat and watching his big brother open packages and wildly spin around the living room.  We spent the day at home in comfy clothes- just hanging out and letting Grayson explore his new toys while we all watched- Keegan included :)
