One year stats and check up

Baby Keegan is big and healthy! He remains ahead on all of his motor milestones and all seems well on all fronts. He continues to love nurse Erica with all of his heart and squeaks and squeals with joy upon her entry into any space. I am so happy he is still so happy.

Happy Birthday from Auntie Courtney

Auntie Courtney is incredibly kind and loving and generous. She sent the boys a birthday package of love and they dove into it with joy and excitement. Keegan thought the little car was pretty awesome and the dragon turns out to be a great chew and throwing toy ;)

Spin

My aunt Missey has friends who are incredibly generous with their toys and games their children are no longer interested in. Today we discovered a metal top in the most recent delivery and Keegan is obsessed. He loves the thing and plays with it longer than I have watched him play with anything else. He loves the cause and effect. He loves to watch it spin. He loves to put the button and smiles every single time. He is a hoot. And so very happy.

Silly baby

Keegan thinks it is hilarious to put mommy's neck pillow on his head, kind of like a crown of sorts, and run about the family room. Every single time he puts it on (generally with daddy's help) he grins, giggles, squeals and runs about flapping his sweet baby arms. And when it falls off he runs with it to daddy to start all over again.

Happy Birthday Baby Keegan

Baby Keegan woke up sick, super sick, on his birthday party day. His fever was 103 and all he wanted was mama snuggles and to cuddle his grandma. All of daddy's family came over to Keegan's house anyway and we enjoyed cake and coffee while the children played and ran and laughed (except Keegan of course, he just snuggled). Thankfully he is a warm and happy baby and as long as his people are holding him he is pretty ok.

Music man

Keegan is just about as in to music as his big brother is. We have quite the jam sessions around here these days. His dance is awesome: it involves a lot of bouncing and frequently a right foot stomped repeated as he goes about in a circle. He is so full of joy when he moves to music. If he and G could just get along for an extended period of time maybe they could make music together.

Peek a boo

While driving home in the van, Keegan was playing peek a boo in his jacket hood. He lifted up off his head and squealed and then would pull it way down over his eyes, laughing the whole time. Grayson was highly entertained and as a mom it was fabulous to sit and listen to them both laughing as we drove. Happy sigh.

So big

Baby Keegan is big on entertaining his family. He loves to make people laugh by being silly and running about the house with things on his head or offering food to people over and over again all while laughing to himself. He is awesomeness.
