Cheeeeeeeese

A camera elicits the best faces from sweet Keegan. Cheese! Nose wrinkles. Grins. Shrugs. Awesome.

Don't know

Where is it baby Keegan?
Don't know

Do you know baby Keegan?
Don't know

Where's your brother Keegan?
Don't know

The tone of voice, pitch and facial expression that goes along with the shrug is awesome.

Growing up

Keegan may still (may always) be called baby Keegan but he isn't much of a baby anymore... Just this month he has shown that he can:
- step up and down stairs
- climb in and out of the bathtub (sometimes fully dressed to hint he wants to bathe)
- say: all done, uh oh, light, more, bye bye, I don't know (with the best shoulder shrug ever), oink, chicken (chichi), doggy, nigh nigh, help, mom, dad, up, p
-climb easily on and off any chair, couch or small table he can find
- eat only while using a fork or while holding a fork
- hold his own when his big brother tries to push him over or take something away
- click and clip every fastener in the house

Ummmm

So while Ryan and Grayson took Bailey for a walk, Mommy and Keegan stayed home for some one on one time. Things didn't go quite as planned... Apparently if Keegan isn't wearing pants he also no longer wears a diaper. Plus side: he is so darned cute and so darn pleased with himself. Downside: looks like Keegan will have to be in pants or shorts at all times. Or the world will be in for some show :-)

Solo mission

Mommy tried to wash some potatoes one night for dinner leaving Keegan alone in the family room for nearly 4 minutes. Turns out four minutes is plenty of time to seek and destroy a box of tissue, and have a darn good time doing it!

Trouble

This one is trouble (disguised by pure awesome sweetness). Can't you tell?

Hello, hello

Keegan is really into phone calls these days. He loves to talk on his phone, my phone, an iPod, a shoe.... Anything that could possibly be a phone. And he is so serious about it all! Lots of big conversations, lots of intonation and questions. And best of all- lots of facial expressions.

Happy Chreaster!

Grandma and Grandpa built a new house for the whole family to enjoy, but it wasn't done by Christmas so instead we mashed up Christmas and Easter and had a great Chreaster. All of the aunts and uncles and cousins were there! There were Christmas gifts and an Easter egg hunt. There were snacks and snuggles, toys and tons of big cousins to play with. It was a long day but the kids had fun exploring the new house an the bonus room and are totally thrilled with their gifts. A good day for sure.

Thanksgiving at Mimi's house

The celebration for the boys was a lot more about the coolness of Mimi's front loading washing machine than anything else. Though Keegan did manage to snuggle and smile even when not watching clothes spin.
